Homeward bound ....

.... now back in Pitlochry after a most enjoyable 22 hrs in Edinburgh. 

I stayed at M's after book group & enjoyed a walk along with her this morning.  

M was heading into work and I continued into town and went up Calton Hill before heading to the Scotland's People Centre where I'd book a seat. It  had just re-opened to non-professional genealogists so my trip was well timed. 

One advantage of searching from the centre is that you pay a flat fee and can look at as many records as you want. The second is that you can look at more recent records. 

M had supplied me a packed lunch of leftovers which I enjoyed in Princes Street Gardens before catching my train.
