The Scottish Deer Centre

Big contrast from yesterday’s start to the day as we headed north after dropping H off at the grandparents. No traffic jams and we arrived at the Scottish Deer Centre just after 10am for a nice day of exploring the park.

We played on the vintage fire truck, tractors and go carts before seeing the animals. Apart from deer, they have otters, bears, wolves, lynx, Scottish wildcat, elk, red fox and many birds.

Fun day and we enjoyed lunch from Bob the Smoker. Mmmmmm!

Also, I supplied some pumps through work for the otter and bear enclosures so always nice to see them in action. They were kind enough to give us a plaque at the bear enclosure (see extra).
