Green winged orchid planting

An exciting day! I went to help with the reintroduction of green winged orchids to Gait Barrows!
We had a great introductory talk from two Kew Gardens scientists, explaining about mycorrhizal fungi and how critical they are to orchid seed germination.
Then to the site, to plant the tiny seedlings.
We will keep them damp , and hope to see survival and growth! 
Wouldn’t it be wonderful!
