Verbena

This is the verbena I bought a couple of weeks ago in memory of my friend who died last year.
Did some more sorting out in the garden again today.  Golden Rod now cut down and an ants' nest under a sedum removed and sedum replanted.  The untidy pile has been annoying me and surprised how finely the soil had been sifted by the ants.
Collected my shoes from the cobblers.  Slippy plastic heels removed and replaced with non slip.  Took in a pair of trouser boots for the same treatment, as the last time I wore them I skidded onto the floor.  Annoying when the heels are not worn down at all.  Better to be safe than sorry.
