The Forlorn Hope

Hampshire waste and recycling lags a long way behind much of the country, but there is a fortnightly garden waste collection if you are able to pay for it. Due to the driver shortage the previous collection was picked up eight days late which means it is due again today. The advice online is to leave the bin out and it will eventually be collected. Just when that will be is anybody guess but obviously no-one is taking any chances because there are forlorn looking brown bins everywhere you look.
As my sons would say, First World Problems.
(With apologies to Bernard Cornwell)
