Between fen and mountains

Vine by a doorway

The neighbours' grapes are nearly ready. Our other neighbours are rarely there and they let us pick theirs. Their grapes are an unusual perfumed variety and are not looked after so some suffer from vine maladies. Nevertheless, I usually find enough grapes for the table. I made bread in the morning before going for a walk. I also tried to sort out a residency tax issue which is very complicated. Mrs TT had a dental appointment in the afternoon so I ran her into town and had a pleasant hour reading my book whilst I waited. I realised then that I had left the dough rising on the counter and not put it into baskets. Fortunately I was able to rescue it on my return.
