Below the snow line

I have been without power for most of the last three days because of heavy snow and blizzards, but finally the power is permanently on and I was able to get my car out and down the hill to the lowlands.
There was a hungry cat to feed in a friend's house down by the sea. And the sun was shining and the snow on the hills looked magnificent.
