I got to town in order to collect my sandals from the shoemaker (they needed a little new stitching) and tried to call my daughter who's having her birthday today.. but I didn't manage to reach her yet (that seems impossible in these times of handies at hand all the time, but we both are not that hooked yet to our handies )
