Aboriginal Canoe Sculpture

A bus ride down the highway to meet a friend for a walk along the Cooks River. I was drawn to rundown fast food outlets and graffitied railway underpasses, but the Aboriginal artworks and archaeological sites along the river were more representative of the day. The local council has upped its game.

More pink flowers in the extra. Kangaroo Apple flowers and berries, the berries toxic when green but ripening to an edible red. Also found across the ditch in New Zealand.
