Tart

Turns out my windfall apricots were mostly past it, no bugs but starting to rot all the same. Still, I salvaged enough to top off the planned apple tart, a variation on a French recipe with a quark custard poured in before baking. Not too rich, not too sweet; just a pity that I had to re-work the frozen pastry as that then let down its filling. Still tastes great though! One quarter gone, three to go …..
