Wild iris (dietes grandiflora)

I was happy to find one of these today. They are a short lived pleasure.

Today I went for another long stroll with a covid walking pal, around the waters of Glebe, on the other side of the bay from yesterday's walk. Another glorious spring day reaching 27C.

On the way we passed a house with plant boxes of a beautiful geranium which I think might be the calliope crimson flame, as blipped recently by KatesGardenPDX. It looked like another one I had, grown from a cutting, which I managed to kill. I should just defer to the Resident Gardener on these matters. So I snapped off a bit which is now in his care.

Thanks for hosting BikerBear. Stay well all.
