End...

…………….……..of Day Light

Looking inland from the Kumeras - as the sun is close to sinking behind the Western Ranges near Motueka, NZ.

Today I am uploading three photos - all from the kumeras.

This main blip was the last of the three I photographed. I love the way the light is filtering between the folds of the hills and captures a lone cluster of trees.

The first extra was taken on arrival in the parking area. There are often cattle in these paddocks and the long shadow of the steer indicates the position of the sinking sun.

The second extra was taken at the north end of the track and looking across the estuary towards smoke from an orchard’s controlled burn off and trees bathed in golden light creating an autumn look to the new spring growth.

Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s ‘wet-look’. It was wonderful waking to sunshine this morning. Tomorrow isn’t looking quite so promising.
