The Wonky Tree Fire

Saw pictures the other day, that showed the fire brigade had to go and put a fire out inside the ancient tree in Cockermouth. It has been photographed many times and today as we passed it, on the way to the country market, I just had to take a picture of the damage. They have now filled the hollow parts with wire, hope it will stop people damaging the poor old tree further. Extra shows the whole tree.
