End times...

A day of endings at the Oval, the final day of the final Surrey match of the season against Glamorgan but also the last playing appearance for Rikki Clarke after a 21 year career.

The match situation was largely irrelevant after Glamorgan had piled on a monstrous 672 for 6 declared and Surrey, starting the final day on 387 for 2, went on to break all sorts of records in closing on 722 for 4.

Main shot is of Rikki taking the field for the last time at the start of the evening session. He had been promoted up the batting order specially for the occasion and went on to make 12 not out.

Extra 1 is of a smiling Hashim Amla who had just finished his pre match warm up. The South African legend was finally out for 168 playing an uncharacteristically loose shot.

Extra 2 is of Ollie Pope hitting over the bowler's head to bring up his 150. He was finally out for 274 - the highest individual score in the County Championship this season.

Extra 3 is of the youngest member of the Surrey ground staff helping to scatter grass seed during the tea interval
