Not toad -in- the -hole…

Yesterday was washing. Today cooking. I’m doing the wifely thing of preparing meals for the next few days when I won’t be around to think of a meal, prepare it and then think of the next one…

That sounds very unkind. There are really two chefs in our home and meal preparation is a job shared (sometimes.)

Another beautiful day! After a full morning we ate lunch in the garden. Then D started preparing the other garden bed and really broke the back of the heavy work. After a while, he needed to come in and read his book for a bit….

I’ve been to choir again this evening and took a friend along. She enjoyed it! Some songs tonight left some ladies thinking they were not sopranos after all! Our leader will change the key for next week.
