Market Day

I have gone on and on about how great our mercado is in Zihuatanejo. I must say that the Thursday Market in Oceanside gives me a similar feeling, if only one day a week. We walked there with our daughter this morning to see what was for sale. Heirloom tomatoes of many varieties were available as seen here along with a number of other fruits and vegetables. Not as wide a variety as Zihua and the prices were at least three times higher, but it was like being home (except everyone spoke English).
