Blade runner?

Ordered a new axe and tree loppers and went to pick them up from Screwfix. All fine.

Realised I was out of duct tape for some repairs, and needed some bin bags, so added them to the order.

Now why did that seem to make the counter assistant nervous, especially when I loaded it into the tarpaulin covered boot of my car?
