Bellingham Symphony Concert

We went to the first live concert of our city’s symphony in over 500 days! The music was wonderful and the new concert master played Ralph Vaughn Williams’ Lark Ascending flawlessly. This year’s concerts are different due to Covid. They are doing two performances with smaller socially distant, masked audiences. There are no intermissions, drinks, snacks or paper programs. And the concerts are shorter. But the quality is still very high and we joined the smaller audience in giving the orchestra a standing ovation.

I started a new painting today. You can see the under layer in the extras.
