S and B-in-L

I don’t like these abbreviations, but others do use them so here they are - Jeanette and Neil. We had a lovely time with them today! Neil cooked us a great breakfast with sausages and bacon from local hogs, mushrooms and toast made with his homemade bread. They live in a quaint town called Fordingbridge in Hampshire. After breakfast we went on a walk near the river Avon and managed to avoid most of the nettles along the path!
We then went on to have lunch at a pub - “Fleur-de-Lys”, mentioned in a Hardy novel, where Tess danced on the tables, apparently!
Now we are on our way down the M3 to meet up with one of David’s oldest school friends, Adrien and his wife Val. Then on to camp overnight in Wokingham, Surrey.
