Killing the feathers

Yet another blip of Alfie - it will need to be Lexi's turn next, or soon at least.

I got outside today to take the bins out, and met J in the street so we had a brief chat. In the afternoon I went round to K who is recently back from France. At least this time he doesn't need to quarantine. After that I went to Blackford Pond briefly and all eight cygnets were still there. I guess some of them might leave fairly soon. The drake mallards are now in their breeding plumage and looking very dapper. Some tufted ducks have arrived, presumably after breeding, which they must do somewhere else.
