Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Mouthful

Quite the mouthful - this grey squirrel was careful not to drop this impressive clump of berries as it headed up the tree.

At Red Brick Dam I sat to enjoy some of the afternoon sunshine. After ten minutes or so I noticed a small duck skulking in and out of the vegetation. I wasn’t quite sure what it was, but after careful scrutiny and consultation I’m relatively confident it’s a Wigeon of somewhat in between plumage (extra).

There were a few butterflies about: Small Copper, Speckled Wood and Large White.
