The michaelmas daisies are in full bloom now, and the hoverflies are just loving it.

Day 2 with the new toy saw me trying out the macro lens via the EF to RF adapter.  I am really pleased with the step up in detail achieved, even using the camera handheld in breezy conditions.  I also explored more photoshop techniques, including the shake reduction filter, which has really helped in these conditions, and patch tool. The latter successfully removed a single leaf creeping into the composition - I'd normally use the Lightroom healing brush, but a PS expert friend pointed me at the content-aware cloning capabilities in PS, and I must agree a single "patch" made a far easier, superior and quicker job than LR would have managed!
