Nesting!!

Chilly day today!
No1 son is back at work so I escaped log duties today! 8-))
Enjoy it but, nice to have a break!
I walked along the cliff path above Petit Port with Daisy and Casper and I could see that the seagulls are starting to nest. They have this lovely grassy plateau area which is about 60ft above sea level and is safe from all predators apart from other birds..probably Kestrels and I guess perhaps rats.
Having said that, seagulls with nests and eggs or chicks are ferocious when defending their families. (so am I!)
You only have to walk past on the beach to get squawked at and dive bombed.
Really can't blame them and we leave them in peace!
