Great Bernera

Another wet & windy day but we set off on a short drive to the island of Great Bernera for a circuit walk of about 8 miles. Beautiful rugged scenery, squelchy peat bogs and a stunning beach at Bosta. Rain, wind, sunshine, blue skies, dark clouds and a rainbow. 

We bought some eggs from an honesty box overseen by a couple of interesting characters (extra)!
