It turned out to be a beautiful day. We drove to Gibraltar Point and walked to the viewing point overlooking the beach. It was lovely just sitting in the warm sunshine, sheltered from the breeze watching the waves and the windmills.

After lunch we climbed to the top deck of the visitor centre from where there's a magnificent view of the Wash.

We stopped in Skeggy on the way back where by great good fortune, we found the gluten free chippie straight out of the car park plus the kiosk that makes fresh gluten free doughnuts. You'll know what I had for tea.

Back at the chalet, the management had found us a thick duvet for me to lie on at night, so I'm looking forward to a comfortable night.

And we were able to top up with petrol at ASDA in Skeggy which will enable us to get home. Only one motorist in front of us. Rather different from Leicester. George told me on WhatsApp that fighting had broken out at the garage on Narborough Road.

It's now raining hard, but a sunny day is forecast for tomorrow. We hope.
