Pole cat

When out running this morning I had to stop and check that what I was seeing perched on a fence post in the country was actually a cat and not a bird as is more commonly seen. It looked poised to pounce and must have been eyeing up something in the long grass. I wondered if it was from the farm in the background.I thought it deserved a photo.
