Progress!

It was quite an effort getting all my bits to London this morning, as I had both a rucksack and a pull along bag!  
I strengthen my cardboard template, and used it to make a mould. Then I used a materials new to me this year, a thermoplastic which is used in costuming. It starts like quilt wadding, then by applying heat it shrinks and stiffens,

It was quite an effort, but it seems to be going well!
