Derby

It was good to Valley Parade opened up to the Bradford City women’s team for the local derby against Leeds United. 

City women have been showing signs of improvement this season after several years of decline, but Leeds are second in the table and challenging opposition. A bumper and diverse crowd of 540 saw a resilient display - a goal just before half time gave City the lead and they managed to keep Leeds at bay, despite a lot of pressure in the closing quarter of the game.
