Three’s a crowd.

Nice to wake up to a sunny day.
It has been beautiful all day, but certainly autumnal. The wind is chilly now.

The gas engineer came about 1Oam and managed to fix the boiler. Fingers crossed!
So good to have hot water again.

MrC managed to go for a short walk along the lane, and I decided to have a walk to the pond.
First time I have had my winter coat on.
The water level had gone down, but some of the mallards have returned.
Mostly Male.
The sun really made the colours stand out. That gorgeous iridescent green head.
Think if they are still here in Spring they will be fighting over the females.

We enjoyed watching A House Through Time last night. What a brilliant programme. Sorry it was the last in the series. We certainly learnt a lot about the history of Leeds.
I do hope they do another one.
Tonight is the last in the series of Jay’s Yorkshire Workshop.
Another good programme. Few and far between these days.
