Cosmos

Late to the party, as usual. In fact not much of a party going on in the garden at the moment, so I'm pleased they have finally started flowering. The pink variety is as tall as me this year, but the yellow is lucky if it's a foot off the ground. 

I'm not very on the ball at the moment. I managed to book ferries on the wrong day, and with back-to-front arrival and departure locations. My learned behaviour seems a bit slow at the moment too, like repeatedly trying to open a door that I should know is locked (because the grout is setting). Muscle memory, one - learned behaviour, nil.
