Back from the Peninsula

Drove home from Westport a different way, across and up the eastern side of the Olympic Peninsula, stopping for lunch in Shelton and exploring around Port Orchard. We caught a ferry from Bremerton to Seattle, a beautiful hour's ride that curved around the south end of Bainbridge Island. Out in the Sound there was a dark sky to the north and a dramatic flash of forked lightening over another ferry boat.
