Medway St bridge

Photo is the work going on on the Medway St bridge - we can't understand why it's being rebuilt since no one lives on either side now, and Avonside and Shirley schools are both gone.It's over 10 years since the earthquakes that took out the bridge - and 7000 houses have gone along with the bridge.
