Not The Moon

A busy day covering brain structure and function as well as other odd bits of the nervous system. Also a bit tired to be imaginative. This could have been a tray of brain microscope slides blip entitled "Memories Are Made of This". Or a fume cupboard filled with pickled brains, dogfish, tapeworm, rat, snake etc. probably entitled "Anyone Fancy a Pickle?".
This one won just because it looked a bit like the moon shots I see here. It is a view down the microscope of some stripy muscle, fixed/stained/on a slide with the tree-ish looking nerve fibres ending on it. Nerve impulse pass down these axon/fibres and make the muscle contract...if it's alive. Not the best quality since I just held the camera over the eyepiece. This is a big crop.
