Dresses.

Today was supposed to be stormy.

And although it started off cloudy, by about 10 the sun had come out.

So, I decided to take the girls off to a local park.

They decided they were too hot (they had leggings and t shirts on).  And I had no shorts.

So, I said I'd take them to a local shop to get some shorts.  And then go on to the park.

Once in the shop they decided they wanted dresses and not shorts.

There wasn't much choice in the shop we were in.  So, we drove to another shopping centre.

After much deliberation, and trying on of dresses, we got two they liked.

Went to the Ladies and they changed their clothes.

So an hour after we planned we arrived at the park.

Grandpa had given them some money for an ice cream.  Again, after much changing of mind they got the ice cream of their choice.

We set off for a walk around the lake, so they could eat before we got to the play park.  Ice cream was duly finished by the time we got there.

Nobody in the play park except for one young girl.  And they quickly teamed up with her and her younger brother, who appeared after a little while.

They played for ages, until the sky started to darken.  I then decided it was time to go for lunch.

The girls said they liked their new dresses.  I'm glad about that, as they've already been christened with ice cream and dirt!

The storm arrived just after 5pm.  Luckily everyone was safe at home by then.

It didn't last long, but it was quite fierce.
