It was a very wet day in the end so we went to the Agatha Christie  exhibition in Torre Abbey. The exhibition was produced for the Agatha Christie festival which celebrates her birth in Torquay. The title refers to Agatha’s mysterious disappearance in December 1926, a consequence of her unhappy personal life at that time. She turned up in Harrogate. See Extras. The exhibition focussed on her second marriage to archaeologist Max Mallowan and their travels, which is how she came to travel on the Orient Express. Another extra
