(273) Fading Hope

I've been taking photographs here for over thirty years but it looks as if this may be coming to an end as Forth Ports have been given approval for their plans to erect fencing to exclude the public from virtually the entire harbour area. Despite a well-supported local campaign against the proposals the council planning meeting voted through the fencing plan, much to the disappointment of the community, for which the harbour and dock areas have been such a valuable part of the local landscape.
