In His Element

Phil and I had a number of errands today, separately and together, so it was nice to end all that running around at Elizabeth Station with a schooner each of Petrus Aged Red Ale, a fine Flanders red ale from Brouwerij Bavik in Belgium.

It's aged for three years in oak casks, and to me, had a dominant taste of red cherries -- delicious! A perfect drink for a beautiful spring evening.
