Final Day

THURSDAY

Although I have been using up my annual leave since the beginning of August, I logged onto the work computer at 9:00 am this morning for a Teams meeting on what is my final day of paid employment. After working continuously for just over 47 years, retirement is going to take some getting used to.

It's been very wet and a good day for staying indoors. Even the squirrel was trying to shelter in one of the sycamores at the bottom of the garden.
