I'd just been on a long walk I'd not properly done before, and was very relieved to get back to the road and signs of civilization. (The route had taken me along a long, slightly depressing forestry track that I had begun to think might never end and that was making me worry I'd taken a wrong path!) I think my experience of getting lost in a forest a few months ago has had a lasting effect on me!
