Service

It was a bit damp in Falkirk as I took my car in for its annual service.

After dropping the car off at the garage I then had a wet walk into town to catch the bus home. As I had just missed the service that passes near my house (and it was 55 minutes until the next one) I took another and then had another 20 minute walk in the rain to get home. Delighted that the weather improved considerably by the afternoon and my return journey was a rather drier affair.

The inscription in today's photograph is carved in the pavement outside Falkirk Trinity church and is another reminder of William Wallace's connections with the town.
