Quod oculus meus videt

Late Anemone

A day working from home, punctuated by the visit to hospital at lunchtime.  The weather got better as the day went on, but it also started to get windier.

Late in the day I walked into the garden for a quick blip.  I also intended to set up some bird feeders only to find that our local mouse population had eaten their way through a thick plastic box to gorge themselves on various seeds.  I'd have had to use a saw to make the hole they've created, seriously impressed by their tenacity, it would have taken a lot of time to chew their way through.

This anemone was lit by a shaft of light that passes between our house and the neighbours.  We now move Into seasons where sunlight on our garden is something of a premium.
