Pie

I was shopping for easy meals to cook on our boat and spotted this pie in a tin which was popular amongst students in the 1970. The very thing thought I. It was very modestly priced.
At home I read the instructions. Clearly our trusty tin opener (on the bottom left) was not man enough to get in to the tin to liberate the pie. A quick search confirmed that the two recommended on the tin were upper class expensive tin openers in the region of £15. The pie was seeming less of a bargain.
Back in the supermarket I had a moment of clarity when I realised that the type of tin opener also popular amongst students in the 70s might do the job so I bought one for a pound.
Wish me luck. Perhaps a back up meal would be wise.
