Peeping over the fence

Graham grew a lot of Cosmos plants from seed back in the spring, some he gave to our friend Chris and some he planted in our neighbour’s garden just behind our fence. Chris’s grew to about six feet tall, this is one of our neighbour’s peeking over our fence. However the ones we planted in our own garden all got attacked by slugs. There’s probably a moral there somewhere but I don’t know what it is!
