Spider

My white plastic laundry basket attracts all sorts of creatures as it waits under the clothesline. Today it was a small female spider about 5mm long. She might be a young garden wolf spider. If so, when she grows up, she will carry her egg sac about with her. Then, when the spiderlings hatch, she will carry them on her back until they are big enough to fend for themselves. A laden mother is a curious sight. I’d love to get photos of one.
