No Mum! No photos

Well, we went to the Lake District for the weekend. It should have been good weather. Wow! Were we wrong! But we were very lucky. The journey up to the Lakes was hair raising. It was snowing hard and was very icy under the car. There were a few points when I thought 'should we go home?' but we'd got to a point where it was easier to plough on than turn around.

We did get there in one piece. The snow didn't get to us in the caravan. It was just very, very, very cold.

As the original plans were to spend time wandering around and enjoying the scenery. It was just TOO COLD for that. We ended up spending some time in Barrow-in-Furness and buying another heater. The rest of the time was just relaxing. I think it was time well spent. There was not a single argument all weekend!
