Late summer in the Gardens

Today I met up with two former work colleagues. We all retired last year (without any regrets!). We met at one of my favourite local places: Hilliers Gardens,  near Romsey. We endured a couple of heavy showers, but when the sun came out well, it was glorious.  Here are Ensete  (ornamental  banana plants ) and Rudbeckia (Black- eyed Susan) flowers, proving summer isn't quite over.
