Saturday mornings

This is how we’ve spent most Saturday morning since the pandemic started - playing thames online with Adam and Tomoko. We spend a couple of hours online, chatting over FaceTime and playing a variety of games, some longer ones that we play over a couple of weeks, or shorter ones that may only take 15 minutes. It’s been a great way to stay in touch when travelling to meet in person hasn’t been possible. There’s time to get some housework or other chores done before we start so it’s a good incentive to get those jobs out of the way at the start of the weekend. We’d also occasionally get up early and go for a walk before games but I admit we’ve got a bit lazier recently, plus we usually have a shopping delivery or click and collect to pick up first thing on a Saturday these days.
