New Growth….

Our Lily of the Valley trees have been blooming. Their flowers are past their best but they have now have produced beautiful new leaves in varying shades of pink. A feast for the eyes. We have two of these lovely shrubs growing in tubs. Their Latin name is Pieris japonica.
Some drama in our house tonight. We had a blackbird flying around the living room and kitchen. I suspect one of the cats brought it in. Luckily it was in good health! We managed to help it find its way outside through the ranch-slider doors after some considerable time.
