Godalming Delights

Year 2 Day 194 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 298 days ago.  UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.

After an all you can eat breakfast at Travelodge, Guildford, Amelia and parents returned with us for a few hours with baby Sofia who just celebrated her 1st birthday. No sooner had we got in than grandson Jack greeted us (blip extra) with Hello and a beaming smile.

After a coffee we all decided on a stroll from their house into Godalming town centre, where Jack & Amelia had a good time choosing what ice-creams to have their milkshake made from, then sweets, at Godalming Delights shop.The photo' shows them looking.

We then hit the nearby park where the last extra shows granddaughter Sofia looking on.....she's just started walking!

A better journey home than the hellish drive to Surrey yesterday, with sun out for most of the day.
