Energy Sapping

Went in search of rutting deer this morning but all we found within shooting distance, were a couple of completely knackered stags recovering from an eventful night.
Expecting to see some activity in the mid distance I was carrying the wrong lens when this chap was roused from his slumbers just inside the fence
We walked around the perimeter of the park and managed to avoid any of the heavy downpours we could see in the distance.
However, we couldn't avoid the many runners out completing their virtual London Marathon as they ran along the cycle path from Exeter.
